Why Doggie Daycare?

Dogs are pack animals that require lots of exercise and socialization for their optimum physical and psychological health and development. Dogs are also social animals that do not do well in isolation. Participating in a dog daycare helps them to develop social skills, work on their obedience, and reach their full potential as members of their families.

Loyal Canines Dog Daycare provides an enriching experience for your dog to get exercise and large amounts of personal attention and affection in a professionally controlled environment. We have a large outdoor play yard that is overlaid with artificial grass. Our large facilities host dogs from across the North Shore of Massachusetts. There is ample room to run and play that provide both mental and physical stimulation for everything from puppies to adults; small breed to large breed dogs.

Temperament Tests

Temperament tests are given to assess each individual dog’s behavioral state. We evaluate factors such as sociability, environmental reactivity, and aggressive tendencies to determine where the dog fits within our program (i.e., which social group it may most appropriately be placed in) and whether there is a potential safety risk to either the dog, other dogs, or the staff. These evaluations offer us an opportunity to assess and address the additional training needs your dog may require prior to interacting freely with a larger social group. And you are given the chance to see that we take the utmost care to ensure the safety and social enrichment of all of our dogs. We serve clients across the North Shore of Massachusetts, including Beverly, Peabody, Marblehead, Swampscott, Lynn, and Danvers, MA.
